Job Description

Radford University’s School of Computing and Information Sciences seeks qualified applicants with expertise teaching undergraduate Computer Science courses for a one-year temporary faculty appointment during the 9-month academic year beginning in Fall 2025. Candidates will have to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures.

Required Qualifications

- Ability to teach foundational Computer Science courses such as networking, security, operating systems, and architecture
- Ability to teach online courses with existing pre-developed learning material
- Master’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience teaching Computer Science courses.
- Experience teaching different types of learners at different levels with a variety of teaching methods
- Ability to (learn to) teach effectively in one or more additional areas, particularly: software development, software engineering and testing, cybersecurity, algorithms and theory, or artificial intelligence.
