Job Description
To provide housekeeping services and special floor care maintenance throughout campus facilities, and in support of university functions, to ensure a sanitary and safe environment. Responsible for the care and handling of housekeeping equipment, supplies and assigned keys.
Required Qualifications
Knowledge of general housekeeping cleaning and cleaning equipment. Ability to accomplish a physically challenging occupation. Ability to understand and follow all safety precautions and work related directions. Ability to lift 50 pounds and move 25 pounds. Ability to communicate and work in a team effort. Semi-skilled in the operation of housekeeping powered equipment. Must have expert customer service skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to effectively read and write desired. Experience in commercial or institutional housekeeping preferred.
Valid driver’s license desired.
